01 27 2020 There have been several queries regarding road pavement cuts made by Spectrum during the installation project. After the initial cut, most of the cuts are filled temporarily with dirt to allow some compaction. Some have been filled with cold asphalt. Spectrum advises that at the end of the project, a contractor will tour the streets and repair pavement cuts with a pavement mix. Some residential driveways do not extend all the way to the street pavement. Road Report, September 2019. Charles Crook WHEN WILL MY STREET BE REPAVED? One of the most common questions for the Road Committee is: “When will my street be rebuilt or repaved?” Just about every street in our POA is in need of repair. I recently inspected a road in response to this question. The road was not in great shape. It was better than many others. Road Report May 2019
Road repair will begin in about three weeks in various areas around Wood Creek North. In addition, Spectrum will begin installation operations for cable services. This is a project the board has been working towards for several years. Our county commissioner, Lon Shell, along with other county staff has been instrumental in convincing Spectrum to return to WCN. Spectrum will install cable using current utility trenches when possible. Spectrum will also have to dig utility trenches using trenching equipment. December 2018 Message from the WPOA Road Chairman. I am sending a report for posting on the WCN website for property owners in Woodcreek North Subdivision. If you are unsure if you live in WCN, there is a map on the WCN website that shows the boundaries of the two intermingled subdivisions, Woodcreek North and Wimberly Springs.
