Road repair will begin in about three weeks in various areas around Wood Creek North.
In addition, Spectrum will begin installation operations for cable services. This is a project the board has been working towards for several years. Our county commissioner, Lon Shell, along with other county staff has been instrumental in convincing Spectrum to return to WCN.
Spectrum will install cable using current utility trenches when possible. Spectrum will also have to dig utility trenches using trenching equipment.
Cable trenches will be dug in utility easements that extend throughout the neighborhood. Typically, in Wood Creek North, easements extend eighteen feet on either side of the street midpoint. Measurements may vary. Residents should be mindful that landscaping elements in the easements might be disrupted.
We are grateful that Spectrum has promised to pursue an aggressive schedule that will allow a quick completion. Several crews will be working simultaneously. Completion target is end of year.
Road crews may alter their schedule to work around cable installation. Street cuts will be made in order to cross streets. Road Crews may postpone paving until after street cuts are made on individual streets. All efforts will be made to keep streets open. Some streets may be limited to one lane temporarily.
