Outdoor Burning Rules

Outdoor burning is allowed only under the following circumstances: Burning must be outside corporate limits and burning must be conducted downwind of or at least 300 feet from any structure containing sensitive receptors located on adjacent properties unless prior written approval is obtained from the adjacent occupant with possessory control. Burning shall not begin when the wind speed is greater than 15m.p.h.
