Attendees:
Chris Scudder, President, Dottie Sweeton, VP, Judy Fountain, Treasurer, DuAnne Redus, Secretary; Kemp Bromberg, Matt Lowry
Absent: Emory Jones, Charles Crook, Victoria Welsh
Call to order and Pledge of Alliegiance to Flag by President Scudder at 7:01 pm.
Lowry motioned to approve proposed Agenda; seconded by Sweeton.
Passed. Minutes for August 19, 2015 Board Meeting approved.
- President Report (Scudder)
- Judy Fountain nominated by Sweeton to be Chair of Nominating Committee; seconded by Lowry. Passed. Discussion: 3 Board positions expiring. Board would like to recruit new members and some younger members.
- Scudder presented results of new by-law election. Sweeton motioned to accept; Redus seconded. Passed. Action: Record new By-Laws at County Courthouse.
- Discussion of General Membership venues for next meetings. November 14, General Meeting will be held at Chapel of the Hills; January meeting and subsequent meetings to be held at Community Center.
- Review of recent Sale Trail and Trash Day – New format was a success and 3 dumpsters of trash were gathered and removed!
- Committee Reports
- Road Committee – Scudder reported that El Camino, Stepping Stone and Midland streets to be taken over by County by end-of-year. 2016: Deer Ridge, Falling Leaf and Golf Crest to be taken by County. Several streets to be paved by Wimberley Springs Partners. Guard shack and flag poles to be taken down at Jacob’s Well entrance.
- Treasurer Report (Fountain) – Presented current financials.
- ACC – (Sweeton) Reported 2 new home permits and various permits for solar, fences, etc.
- Parks (Scudder for Jones) – Reminder to all to attend National Night Out at Morrow Park on Tuesday, Oct 6th, 6 pm. Hot dogs and snacks to be served.
- Newsletter (Redus) Reminder to Board to like our new Facebook page. Newsletter will highlight National Night Out.
- Public Comments: JC Rankin and another homeowner reported excessive dumping in courtyard on Pistachio in Section 8. Scudder mentioned that County will be releasing study for proposed trail system throughout the neighborhood.
- Meeting closed to go into Executive Session at 7:31 for discussion on ACC matters, personnel, and business matters.
Re-convened at 8 pm. Action: Judy motioned to accept recommendation for personnel recommendation; Lowry seconded. Passed. One No. Meeting adjourned at 8:01
